I have a smoke tree that has been very healthy. Over the last couple of weeks the branches and become limp and the leaves dried out and shrivelled. I have made sure it has had enough water but this state is continuing and soon the whole tree will be affected. What can I do to prevent this? What is this problem called?

I assume by Smoke Tree you mean Cotinus - google to make sure. Where is it growing (in the ground or a pot) and how long have you had it? Any chance of a photo of the problem?
