hello, I am wondering if after the plant browns off is it ok to leave in the ground and do the potatos still grow a little. I was told by an older gardener they get tuffer skins and store better any truth to this.

Sorry, Moon_grower and Plantandpray! I have had very little experience with potatoes, and none of it successful. Plantandpray, you might want to check the publications of your local Cooperative Extension for the best info for your area.
