Torch in hand and boots on feet

Hi Stan, have you tried grit round your plants, or salt (not too close to plants as they don't like salt). If it's flowers you want to keep the blighters away from, try putting some in large pots and putting slug pellets in top of pot. Other than that, it really is the 'torch in hand' bit at night! Or try slug traps--a deep saucer set into the surface of the ground, full of beer or milk---have you ever seen a drunk slug? You might do soon!! Best of luck, Annie
