what compost do i use for spanish olive trees

i have spanish olives that need putting in bigger pots ... what compost should i use

Hi Beanfish, Olives grow and fruit well in terracotta pots, in a loam based compost, ie John Innes No 3 adding grit for good drainage, if it is a very wet season raise the pot (on feet) if possible, hope this is enough information.

Hi Beanfish. You may get several answers, none of them agreeing. That is gardening for you.
I use a mixture of ericaceous compost, sharp sand and grit. (2:1:1) but I am sure others will disagree. (They always do but it works for me. sigh.)
