My Aunt has just given me some welsh poppy seeds from a dead flower pod off her garden. Can I sow now (June)? Will they grow this year and flower? Ive heard they need the cold before they grow? Any help much appreciated.

This is not the kind that need the fridge treatment. Just sprinkle them on the ground and all being well you will have some plants and flowers next year.
