do i water bulbs i have planted in containers for spring?

durham, United Kingdom

i have bulbs in containers sheltered under a table at the base of my house wall, not sure if they need water or not, they are dwarf iris and tulips.

Check the compost and see if it feels dry, especially after it has rained, as they may be in the shelter of the house wall - also,if you are able to lift a container, and it feels light, then it needs watering.

They dont need special shelter. If it were me I would move them out into the open so they get natural rain water and then you can stop worrying. But no, they should not be allowed to dry out.

How do I say thanks?
