I have some large pieces of bubble wrap, can it be used to wrap around my box balls in pots in place of fleece to protect from frost? thanks, Janet

Not safely Janet. The trouble is moisture. Fleece is porous but bubble wrap holds damp in so you may rot your box plants. If you could rig up some sort of frame you may get away with it but that would be more trouble than it is worth.

Thanks for your replies, I thought there would be trouble with moisture, last year I lost one because the high winds blew it over and the pot smashed exposing the roots to the frost, I will move them to a more sheltered spot this year. Janet.
