How do I help my potted geraniums survive over winter?

Answers

Cut them back, removing all flowers and buds, and keep them potted but in dry-ish compost in a frost-free greenhouse. Then start them off again in the spring.

I bring mine into our porch, which does get rather cold but they seem to be fine. Like Spritzhenry I cut them right down and just wait for them to go again in spring with a good watering.
