As an organic substitute, Daisy, use a mix of hoof, horn, and hide meal; chicken bone meal--beef and pork bone meal don't dissolve--and quarter-minus granite. The trouble is that the first two items may be hard to find, and the third one is apparently only easily found here in Arizona!
