Hi Everyone! It's me again, I'm transferring some lovely green and white sriped grasses around several places in the garden as it's taking over the patch it's in, can I put some as a marginal plant in the pond, or will it harm the fish?I think it's called gardeners bracers but I'm not sure. any advice again appreciated. cheers, Masie.

I know it as Gardeners garters, Phalaris arundinacea. It will grow anywhere. It is a very invasive plant. I have no idea whether it will do any harm to the fish, but you may want to put in a pot in your marginal area. I have areas I wanted to hide. so i planted 3 small sections. in just 3 yrs they are now areas covered in the grass. small sections were about 5 ltr pot size. They now dominate areas 4' x 3' and still spreading.
