Suggestions needed for indoor plants please!

I'm looking for some tall plants (max of around 6ft) to go in my living room to act as a sort of divder - I'd love to have something unusual and attractive but don't know where to start. The one thing I cannot consider is any form of cacti as I have a two year old who would certainly come off worse for wear in a fight with it! x

Try Cissus Striata Cirrhosa.
It is fern leafed, pale cream fragrant flowers. Grow it on a frame, in a square container with large pebbles over the earth/compost.
To help humidity and to stop the little person digging in it. Ditto Jasminum Officinalis.

How about Parlour Palms? Nice tropical foliage but feathery so you can see beyond them and keep an eye on that small person.

Cheese plants - nice huge leaves and soft although they can get huge but can be divided quite easily.
