Can someone please advise on the best time to feed my skimmia. It is getting some yellowing leaves. I have given it a mulch with ericacious compost (some left over from planting a new one in a pot) but I also plan to give it a feed with some Sequestrine. Should I do this now or wait until after it has flowered?

Thanks Bamboo. It's the iron tonic I meant, rather than feed. So I'll do as you suggest and wait until the end of March (ish).

Remember that Sequestrene is not a feed, it's an iron tonic - apply around the base mid to end of March, unless its really cold and nothing's growing. If you want to feed it, apply a handful of Growmore or similar and rake into the soil, though feeding in this way isn't essential.
