sedums - is it ok to cut last years stems? we have 3 and new growth can be seen at the base of each but they still have their old stems. Thought i better check before takling them. thanks

Yes I have tidied mine up recently too. No problem doing that now.

Yes, it's best to do it now as it can be fiddly to cut old stems out once the new shoots have put on a couple of inches of growth.

I cut mine off last week,so don't think you will have a problem Tilly.They are hardy enough..I left mine on as they say the birds like the seedheads,but never seen one on them yet ! .Lol
