I have a mimosa tree about 5years old.The frost has got to it and it is now all brown, leaves and buds.Would it be best to cut back hard in the spring.

You'll need to wait and see if there's any sign of life - they are not hardy in most areas. I do hope it's OK, but somehow doubt it, I'm afraid.
