I ought to apologise for this. I have left the photo too long because of the lousy weather, but I can tell you they are small and blue. If identification is a problem, I could repeat the question next year with flowers on the plant. Regards Bernard

I am pretty sure that this is Linaria purpurea, Bernard. If you leave the seedheads on, it will seed itself and you will get loads of new plants - if you liked it, that is! If not, then chop 'em off!
