i have had a phalaenopsis orchid since march this year it has two stems and has flowered all year and has produced about fifty new buds it still has flowers on it about ten and also another fifteen buds i have stopped watering it and feeding it but the buds still come i understood that it should be resting for the months of december and january what should i do with it now sonia

Phaleonopsis doesn't have a resting period - it sometimes pauses a bit, but should always be kept moist. Poor thing, its doing its best and producing buds, and you've stopped watering. Resume immediately, assuming the plant is still alive.
