I have 2, 1 gets flowers and the other doesn't even though they are next to each other. The trick for getting fruit is to hand pollenate. If I don't do that, the blooms just fall off.

On the assumption you mean pomegranate, they can sometimes fruit in their first year, but more usually take between 2 and 3 years
