Hello everyone , help ! my daughters buddleias are covered in what looks like a bug infestation or blight , anyu ideas's bon what this might be or how to treat it would be most helpful , many thanks .

Check under the leaves, this year is very bad for aphids, they are everywhere, and I think that's what you have
Spray with something, but depends on bush size.
Plus, you have to be aware that whatever you use, including soft soap mix and suchlike, will linger & could affect the butterflies etc that will come for the flowers.
Personally, just leave them and hope ladybirds, blue tits etc do their job
That is what I'm doing.
