Well, Sycamores are Acers!

I'd go sycamore or field maple but not one of the pretty acers I think you mean.

I don’t think that is a sycamore seedling. I get loads of them and they aren’t bronze. I think it’s an Acer as you wished Julia!

The Sycamore seedlngs we get here are often bronze like that.

I’m surprised you don’t have more Julia we used to get a lot of them in the courtyard when we were in the flat. But ours were always green. Different kind of maple.
