alcea roses (holyhocks)

I am new to the gardening world. I have grown holyhocks this year and the display was lovely. Can I grow next years from the seeds of this year nd if so HOW?

Not sure as I've never tried it, but I just cut the dead stems back and my Hollyhocks grow again or seed themselves! Why don't you save the seedpods and plant the seeds in a cold frame next year? It's worth a try! Nothing to lose!
