Have the cabbage white butterflies finished laying their eggs on brassicas now? I would like to take the enviromesh off the bed to make it easier to weed.

in East Yorks the answer is NO!
Yesterday my husband told me he had spent 20 mins watching a large White flitting from seedling to seedling of my winter cabbage. Every leaf has a couple of eggs on it.
