An Aster, which I wish to transplant is flowering at the moment. Would it be better to wait until Spring?

If its any help I moved my aster `Little Carlow` last week when it was in full flower, Took it up with plenty of soil round the root ball and it is doing fine.

Hi Georgina. You should be able to move it if you lift with a good rootball. I don't think it will effect the plant much at all. A spring move would be fine too of course.
