Plant identification

Fairly new to gardening so others will confirm if I'm right or wrong but leaf look like it is one of the Mahonia.

I thought it was a fuchsia. Very similar from the bark and leaf shape.

Thought it was Cornus (Dogwood) or a very sad Bay (shrub) by the shape of the leaves.

I think it is a Fuchsia too.

I just find it strange that there would be a fuchsia randomly growing though? It has never produced a flower either.

Looks like a clear case of Wait and See!

It looks like a Fuchsia x 'Gartenmeister Bonstedt', or close kin, to me.
