My chilli trees did so well last year. this year we trimmed them right down, by spring they had grown plenty of new leaves and flowers. My one tree's leaves started getting slightly yellow coulor before turning black, just like black frost before. even the smallest new leaves are doing the same. any ideas of what it could be?

Did they get a lot of extra rain this spring? Some fungi that do this can attack them in wet weather. Poor drainage or too much fertilizer can also cause similar symptoms.
