Hello gardening friends I hope your all keeping well? I have been given a Helianthus (Sun flower) When it arrived on Friday it looked healthy it was dry so I watered it since then it looks like it is dying it is limp and the leaves are shrivelled any advice please? Thanking you in advance.

Thank you very much Seaburngirl. My daughter sent it to me on Friday as a gift for my birthday on Sunday and she will be coming to see me on holiday in two weeks time so I am trying to recover it so as her feeling won't be hurt.

I'm just very hot otherwise keeping well.
Keep it moist but out of full sun. the high temperatures wont be helping it all. it should recover from the rootstock.
