nope that has gone over. the flower buds are the bits you eat before they extend/open.

I have used some of the smaller younger leaves as greens. So not will be lost.

Broccoli is a cool weather crop best grown in early spring & fall. It's the hot weather that causes it to bolt like this.

Thanks I will pull them and hope the extra room will enable my beetroot and pea pods to get a bit bigger

You can use the younger leaves as greens though - pity to waste the whole lot.
