Is this a normal foxglove? It seems unusual to have multiple flower stems on one plant.

Looks like it to me. It's what I have in our garden. What makes you think it's not quite right Janeli?

It is Janeli. It grows "arms" when the main stalk is damaged or cut off or done blooming. Quite normal.

Thank you for your replies. It was just that other foxgloves in the garden are on a single stem and any photos I looked up seemed the same and the leaves of this look larger and darker than others we have and we wondered if it could be a different variety or something closely related but another species.

It might be a different strain. Where I live, we grow them as winter annuals, usually the 'Foxy' strain, which normally gets multiple stems.
