Peony Sarah Bernard, have planted up tuber close to surface but doesn’t seem to be doing much? Aim is to plant out in border when weather gets warmer. Should I leave alone & then just transplant into border in May/June? Thanks.

Mine in the ground are at about the same stage. It is more the root development which decides whether to plant out or wait. I would hang fire until the pot is full of roots.
