It's one of the dwarf forms of Sanseveria trifasciata. Common names include Snake Plant, Bowstring Hemp, and Mother in Law's Tongue. At a guess, this one is the variety 'Golden Hahnii', though there are many to choose from, nowadays.

Thankyou for your reply ,I had looked it up in my indoor plant book and thought it resembled the golden birds nest, but didn’t think the edges looked yellow enough, however having seen your reply ,I feel at least we are on the right track, thank you for your time
