Can you plant strawberry plants in hanging baskets?

Thanks Seaburngirl. It’s just I’ve been given 6 small plants and have nowhere to put them. Will try hanging baskets this year and see how it goes.

yes you can. the only problem is keeping them well watered and then the birds off the ripening fruit.
My girls did it about 10 yrs ago and they got enough off them to make them happy.
