Can someone please help me identify this? It's been growing in my garden for a while now... not sure if it's a weed or something else.

The leaves are similar to my red Amaranthus with the long furry ponytail flowers.

I reminds me of Lysimachia. if it is it will have buttercup yellow flowers and you like it keep it. if you don't like it ,its a weed so remove.
