My daughter s now growing avocado plants, the ones shown here are already twice as big. She has a tiny garden - i gather these will grow huge.

Those are just tiny seedlings compared to a full grown tree which can reach 80 feet tall. That's taller than my two story house.

according to the RHS they can grow outside in the UK but only in the mildest regions.

They grow tall, but they take forever to get very big. My neighbor started his about 5 or 6 years ago, and it is only 4' tall. No fruit yet, either.

They can take up to 13 years to bare fruit and at least 1 other tree for a decent yield.
