Possibly a Hemlock tree, but I'm not 100% certain. It looks like the one I had that was knocked down by Hurricane Gloria.

Can you describe the shape of the flowers? are they daisy like or rosemary like?

the foliage reminds me of a moss phlox but I have never seen them grow like this.

Sorry I’ve looked through all my photos over the years and can’t find a single picture.

The flowers are lilac but tiny like forget-me-knot Flowers.
