Is it to early to cut back my roses as they have a lot of black spot on them, it would be easier to cut them back than pick all the leaves off but i am not sure it is the right think to do.

it is really and the problem would be if we get a pleasant spell it will start into new growth from the buds you want to grow in the spring. then in the winter they will get frosted.
why not spray the rose with a fungicide such as rose clear to try and treat it. in the autumn rake the leaves up and either burn them or pop them into the council waste.
