Thanks sea burn girl,it does look like a mallow but I googled the name you mentioned Owdboggy and that seems to be what they are so thankyou.I inherited a few plants in this garden that were new to me .

I confess to having a liking for Sidalcea. There are a few different ones available from white to deeper pink than that one.

It’s very pretty.Id quite like a darker pink one.Now I know the name I’ll be on the lookout.It seems easy to grow.

The deep pink one is Sidalcea Brilliant.

i have a mid pink one that is supposed to be Party girl but I don't find it matches the images on the net.
