Is it a MOTH ? ID please
Good day to you on this very hot day. Just opened my back door and this beautiful moth is on the step. Has anyone any ideas what type it is ?

It is a Jersey Tiger moth going by its wing patterns.
"Euplagia quadripunctaria, the Jersey tiger, is a day-flying moth of the family Erebidae".
It likes Eupatorium cannabinum [Joe Pye weed] its a good plant for many pollen and nectar feeders.
