Not sure a question but an observation....noticed we have young goldfinches visiting Knautia Macedonia and eating the seed heads...anyone else seen this .

They go for the seed heads of all kinds of tall flowering plants here. Also the little red-headed house finches native here.

Not seen them on Knautia but watched one once jumping up to grab seeds from a geranium phaeum. They're wonderful little birds aren't they? Beautiful photo!
