mine has just started to flower too. one of its common names is Hare's foot clover.

It spreads everywhere and can be a nuisance, although it is very pretty :)

Many thanks for your replies. It seems to keep itself contained in my garden Hywel unlike the Japanese Anenome I planted years ago without realising the nuisance that has caused me. Just when I think it’s gone from a certain area in border- up pops a leaf !!
