I' ve rooted a cutting from a spray carnation. It is about 7 ins tall and has thrown out another rather spindly shoot. How should I treat this plant and should it remain in the glassed back porch or go outside, please.

it needs to go outside but give it a week of out in the day in at night then plant it out. leave the side shoot alone that is a good sign. it could be a flowering shoot.
