I've noticed these celery stems starting to root and sprout, and I am thinking of planting them to see if I can get celery plants from them.
I wonder if anyone has tried this in the past and if so what results did you get, and would they grow in my raised bed ...

I"ve done this in 1st grade with Sister Sheila, my teacher (I had a crush on her). We've started them in a cup of water with toothpicks. After they sprouted roots, we planted them in pots and after a few weeks, everybody took home a new celery plant. Mine was chopped up and added to tuna salad.
