How do I encourage more flowers on my ‘charming garden’ tree peony? I had three blooms last year but only two this year.

More sun=more flowers Keep soil moist. Tubers should not be planted more than 2 inches deep. Rich fertile soil that drains readily and a feed higher in potassium.

if it is a tree peony there aren't any tubers but it is a woody shrub really.

Give it a good feed in early spring and don't prune it unless it gets out of it hand. Mine had a poor year last year and this year its doing well.
