We have a raspberry "tree" that we didn't know how to care for. Is there any way to cut/prune it so that someday, it can be a bush and bear fruit once again? Thanks in advance.

Whoa! Definitely not a raspberry. Maybe a cherry or plum?
Also, welcome to GoY, Linda! :)

Absolutely, not a raspberry - they form canes, not trunks. Morus rubra maybe? fruits are a bit raspberry like in appearance... but if its Morus, these are trees, they don't remain bushes.

I thought Mulberry too [Morus species] and it will grow into a large tree. The fruits are edible too.

google mulberry trees and look for the RHS link.

It honestly doesn't look like a mulberry to me, but the one I grew up with was Morus alba. If it is a mulberry, it will bear as a bush or as a tree, but it is easier to pick as a bush. To turn it into a bush, cut it down to about 40 cm tall, and immediately seal all cuts, to protect it from heart rot. Let the riot of new shoots grow up over the summer, and cut half of the resulting switches down to 2-3 buds in the winter. The remaining switches will produce berries next summer, while the ones that were cut down grow new switches. Cut the switches that bore fruit down to 2-3 buds the next winter, and leave the new ones to bear the following summer. Eventually, annual pruning will produce something that looks like a midget--and hopefully immobile!--Whomping Willow, with berries within reach each summer.
