My Andromeda polifolia compacts has struggled for a few years having been moved once...I've added acid compost and fed it but although it is showing flower buds it doesn't seem to put on much growth.Can anyone throw any light on it please. The photo shows a perennial grass growing infront of it.

Hi its common name is bog Rosemary so it needs damp cool acidic soils. I bought one when I was seduced by its beautiful flowers. I gave it damp but not acidic and it died.
so unless you can provided those conditions it will struggle I am afraid.
