I have grown several plants from Colombian 'purple ' passion fruit seeds as sold to supermarkets world wide . Currently they are growing very well with very long tenderils . I planted them last September and have on Sun lit window sill put them outside on warm and out days . I wondering if anyone else has success growing these outdoors in the uk. Do they come to fruit ? I seem to think the should if grown in a greenhouse .

I've just overwintered four in the greenhouse although it's not heated. We haven't had a hard winter so far and they've been wrapped in big fleece "sacks". I removed the sacks this week and they seem to be ok but cold weather forecast. We'll have to see.
