hi, concerning carrots have them in raised beds app 8 inches of well manured soil also beetroot in same bed they are looking great tennis ball size i have this problem every years carrot leaves are healthy but when i look at carrots they are stunted eg about 1inch dia abot 1inch long must be doing something wrong any ideas?

Don't grow them myself as they're fairly cheap to buy but this site is where I'd look first if I did:
