Repotting acers. Is it correct just to increase the pot size gradually. It's only a 2 year old at the moment in a 15cm diamond pot. I eventually want it in a 30cm diameter container.

Agree, I increase the pot size gradually. It's a good time to examine/address any root issues.

yes that's right. if you jump up too much the roots can sit in too much damp compost and rot off.
