Looking for recommendations for a climbing plant that will tolerate dry soil. Position is facing north, sun in the morning with afternoon shade. Many thanks

many nice varieties of ivy that would fit the bill. I have some honeysuckles that seem to do well at the foot of an old beech hedge and they grow on the north side of it.

I have Lonicera Sempervirens (Coral Honeysuckle) along my back fence. It only gets rain. It's evergreen & has huge clusters of red trumpets in bloom all Summer. Hummingbirds are drawn to it.

Thank you Seaburngirl and Bathgate, I like the idea of a honeysuckle so will look into them. Thank you both.
