What would be the best way to prune a Mexican Orange that has collapsed leaving the middle all open please. is it a plant you could cut severely to the ground and it would grow back ag.ain.It is quite a sizable plant

Well it does respond well to hard pruning, but now is not the time. It may encourage new growth which won't have time to harden off before winter sets in, so you can either wait till winter, when its dormant, or wait till around May next year, and cut back as far as you need to. Not sure I'd cut it to the ground, usually I'd take it back to about 6 inches from the ground if necessary.
