Can anyone ID please?

Bought as a ‘mislabelled’ chilli pepper plant. Now spread about 2’ and about 2’6” high, was covered in little white flowers, now has thousands of clusters of pea-size pods, open a pod and it’s a little bit fruity smell and full of tiny seeds. I’ve no idea what it is! Can anyone help please?

It might be useful to see the whole plant, but I'm guessing its a Solanum of some sort - don't eat the berries, just in case they may be toxic. It doesn't look like woody nightshade either.
