Hi All!

Can anyone make a suggestion. My Pentland Javelin and now my Charlotte have been consumed. I am now waiting for the Desiree and King Edwards, which means that I have a gap and might actually have to buy a few spuds from the supermarket until the main crop are ready.
Does anyone know of a potato that can fill the gap between second earlies and main crop?

When I had an allotment we did suffer from keeled slugs but by sowing second earlies later it missed them and filled in the time between standard second earlies and main crop. So perhaps worth a try next year.

Thanks Jimmy. I will bear this in mind for next year!

Just another thought, Jimmy. I would probably need to plant more Pentland so a gap doesn't open up at this end! They were very nice pots. I haven't grown them before.

How many do you plant? Only we have just dug up our First and Second earlies and there are enough of them to last until next year, now in store. Unless you are feeding a huge number of people with lots of potato dishes that is.
I think we planted 10 tubers of each type.

How do I say thanks?
